Have they seen into the future and know how enjoyable HOME is or isn't? Have they finished all the great games from all the consoles? How do they know what's more enjoyable?
Only an idiot would recomend a PS2 over a PS3. PS3 is getting some good titles this year, the PS2 is a last gens console. All the big titles are drying up.

It looks good, and the story and premise sound interesting. The only problem I have with Haze is that I haven't heard gaming media responded to it with an OMG!! You would think they're had some hands on time with the game by now.
It could be a little like Bioshock, it's a little under the radar but now that's close to coming out, it's getting it's due and awesome reviews.

I played the short demo and it looked good. But reviews 9/10 and 10/10 so far.
I'm still picking up Lair unless more reviews give it 5/10 or something, but I doubt it. Controls are more controversial but I think EGM over did it.

They brought back what worked on Madden 05 and 06 for PS2.
Madden 08 is an improvement over the terrible Madden 07, but If you're like me and you've put long hours in Madden on PS2, you're gonna feel like you're doing the same thing all over yet again.

Blu ray in my opinion is doing quite a bit to get ahead of the pack and lead the way as the future progresses. This Holiday they have some stores selling only blu ray, recent articles are saying stand alone blu ray players are starting to sell a bit better now. It has more studio support and is just progressing nicely. Prices of Blu ray player are also starting to drop.
While the war is far from over, I would rather be in Blu rays position right now.
